2000 Toyota Camry Timing Marks Pdf Converter

Next time will be a lot easier. I didn't actually get any video of replacing the belt, simply because it was getting late in the day and we wanted to get it done already. This was a very straightforward job.

The biggest problem is accessibility. To remove the bolt on the crankshaft, we had to tie a wrench down to a member of the chassis and bump the starter to remove it. Even my impact gun could not get it off. I'm amazed how much torque the starter can produce. Also, even in spinning the engine over with a wrench, it took quite a bit of 'oomph' to move that over when it was in a compression cycle. No wonder cars don't have pull starts! We were both amazed to see that after minimum 75,000 miles the original timing belt looked to be in great shape.

I don't have any firm records, but I don't have any reason to believe that the belt was changed before, which would put this belt at 105,000 miles and still looks great! The replacement belt will last for 60,000 if I'm lucky.
